Keanu was starting his show career rather late according to usual US habit - he was over a year when he entered the show ring for the first time. Right at his first show he went Winners Dog and within only 3 months (one month even not shown) he was Champion. After he had gained the US Championship he was only shown for half a year and got the breed 10 times. Keanu was in the Top 20 Chinese Cresteds in the USA for 2008 with the above mentioned limited showing. He is a beautiful bodied dog with a great level topline. He has great showy attitude and just loves the show ring. Stunning movement and very sound coming & going, with lots of powerful sidegait. His own slogan for the show ring is: "I'll really take you around the ring with my powerful movement, so you better be able to run!"

Since end of August 2010 Keanu was shown in several European countries: in May 2011 he was Croatian Beauty Champion, in August 2011 he was Hungarian Beauty Champion and end of September 2011 he fulfilled all conditions for the FCI International Beauty Champion. Within only 13 months he gained 3 Championships ...... needless to say that we are very proud of how we managed his success. Thanks a lot to his handlers Radek and Dorka who handled him to show win after show win ...... and to the Championships in this short time (12 x class winner, 8 x Winners Dog, 18 x BOB and 2 x BOG3). Furthermore, he turned to be Bundessieger 2011 and end of September 2011 he gained the Crufts Qualification 2012. With this result we ended the show season 2011.

Beginning of March 2012 the next show season began and Keanu continued the way he had ended 2011, namely with more great results and Championships: in March he turned to be Beauty Champion of Serbia, in April he gained the 2^nd place at Best Show Dog 2011 of the Austria Toy Breed Club and was, therewith, Best Chinese Crested Austria 2011. It continued end of April with the Adriatic Winner Shows: 10 shows within three days in five countries. And also here Keanu continued his previous success and gained 5 championships. He is now Beauty Champion of Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Macedonia and Montenegro. 9 European championships within only one and a half years. The show must go on and the boy continued his "rocking" in July 2012 at the Black Sea Winner Shows 2012 in Bulgaria with 10 shows within 5 days: he was awarded the title Black Sea Winner 2012 and gained 5 more championships (Georgia, Bulgaria, Philippines, Ukraine and Turkey), which makes him Beauty Champion of 14 countries plus FCI International Beauty Champion. 14 championships during the time end of September 2010 until mid of July 2012! What a STAR ...... Austria's most successful Show Chinese Crested 2 years in a row. Until today Keanu is the most successful Chinese Crested of Austria.

In October 2016 Keanu was back to the show ring as a veteran, and all judges enhanced that one does not at all notice his age of 10 years. In just three days Keanu gained the title Hungarian Veteran Champion and, therewith, ended his show career.

On May 26, 2011, the first European offspring from Keanu were born, our N litter, on February 8, 2012, his second litter for this kennel was born, the O litter, and the third litter out of him in our kennel was born on May 15, 2014, the P litter. 2013 a litter out of him was born in the Netherlands.

Keanu had a most wonderful character, was most social towards any other dogs - no matter which gender or size, and has a great attitude. It was fun to show Keanu. At home he was a big cuddler and kisser, always in good mood and funny, and he was a great companion and playmate for all the other dogs here in the kennel.

Too young and totally unexpected Keanu broke my heart in the afternoon of May 2, 2018, when he left this world to go over the Rainbow Bridge. We were meant for each other, it was love at first sight for both of us. When I had him in my arms for the first time in the USA, put him back to his pen and left, he "screamed" like hell until I got back to him and took him out.

I don't want to believe that my special darling is gone forever, that never again - beginning at breakfast time and continuing several times each day - he will jump up on me, rub his hed on my legs while stepping with his hind legs when I padded him. Never again this bo will come towards me with his head high up, proud trotting and wagging his tail when I come home or call him. Never again I will feel his breathing when sleeping in my bed with his head on my shoulder or neck. Never again I will have his body or at least his head in my lap while sitting on the couch.  ......... Keanu was a dog which you have - if ever - only once in a lifetime ..... like Yazoo. The sky has a new star, I have lost another piece of my heart and I have fallen into a deep dark hole. The flood of tears will continue for a long time when I am unwatched, and even in contempt of all the wonderful memories and his kids here in the house the grief about the loss of this unique and exceptional boy will join me forever till we meet again.

On May 17, 2018, Keanu has been cremated and on May 19, I brought him home to be on the memorial board with the others. A pendant with a bit of his ashes is now hanging on the rearview mirror in my car with the ones so that he also joins me on all my trips.

As a small tribute to this special darling I had a toy produced. A heartfelt thank you to Olga Kirillova for producing this sweet masterpiece within shortest time.
