It is 20 years ago that in the morning the first puppies from Yazoo (Sel. LOULOU des Cèdres de la Montagne Noire, CGC) and Samson (UGO de la Morne Plaine) were born:. 3 males and 3 females, the C litter de la Maison du Garde-Barrière. The wonderful memories of these offspring accompany me until today.

Today a very special darling celebrates birthday: Ula (Multi-Champ. Family Song's ULA) is 13 years. A very Happy Birthday to my sweet mouse, who from the Chinese Crested is my first successful show dog and dam of great and partly also successful offspring.
Nothing else than joining this girl for many more healthy years is my burning desire.

A heartfeld Happy 6th Birthday to the Caipirinha's O litter: OVER THE TOP "Sly" in Germany, OUT OF REACH "Freya", ONE OF HIS OWN "Gatsby" and ON CLOUD No9 "Esprit" here, ON SILENT WINGS "Story" in Hungary, ONE MAN STANDING "Macho" in the USA and ONE HOT MINUTE "Minu" in South Africa. All the very best to all. Hopefully today they are very much spoiled by their owners.

We have snow again and Hippie (HIGH PROVOCATION von Shinbashi) likes it. There was the chance to take some new Photos of her which are now in her album Hippie's Youth in her Photo Gallery.

Today I have brought Courage's ashes home, and she is where she belongs: besides the other ones on the memorial board.
The small pendant with a little bit of ashes is now on the rearview mirror in my car, and this way Courage joins me on each trip.

A black day: with a heavy heart I had to let my last own bred Briard off to go over the Rainbow Bridge. Courage (Champ. KAHLUA de la Maison du Garde-Barrière) passed away in my arms at 4:05 p.m. ...... It was foreseeable but still - as always in such cases - too sudden. Even though she turned to be eleven and a half years with her major hip luxation, she left way too young.
Farewell Courage. Like all the others you took a piece of my heart with you, and I will have to learn to live with the huge, endless pain till both of us and all the others who have been waiting for you, will be united. Until then you will be in my thoughts daily and forever unforgotten. Thank you that I had the chance to be owned by you. The beautiful memories of our shared, eventful life will hopefully give me a bit of comfort. Let all the others from here who led the way know that they also will live forever in my heart ......
On 01/30/2018 Courage will be cremated, and then I wait for the phone call to bring her urn home.

Today a candle burns for Frizzy (FRIZZANTE FURIOSO GRIS de la Maison du Garde-Barrière) who went over the Rainbow Bridge four years ago. He was one of the best companions for the small breeds in the house (Yorkies and Chinese Crested).
He is missed like on the first day ......

Today I want to show the "recent" grandchildren of Ula (Multi-Champ.Family Song's ULA) and Keanu (Multi-Champ. Whispering Lane THE DEVILS ADVOCATE) and the singleton grandchild of Sterling (Champ. Daretobebares STERLING SILVER) and Keanu (Multi-Champ. Whispering Lane THE DEVILS ADVOCATE) out of the kennel von Shinbashi. Not only the breeder, my dear friend Annerose, can be proud of these offspring, but me as well.
