The last direct offspring of our so very much missed Yazoo (Sél. LOULOU des Cèdres de la Montagne Noire, CGC) celebrates his 12th birthday today: our Christmas Angel Frizzy (FRIZZANTE FURIOSO GRIS de la Maison du Garde-Barrière). Happy Birthday dear Frizzy! The only wish we have: may he be with us for some more time. For his family and friends on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge we have lit a candle to let them know our thoughts are with them.

Today we got sad news again: only a few days prior to his 12th birthday Fendi (FLIC FENDI NOIR de la Maison du Garde-Barrière) left to the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Our thoughts are with his owners Lilo and Teresa who gave this sweet boy such a wonderful and loving home. A candle has been lit for Fendi who can now run free with his parents, litter mates and friends. Now there is only one single direct offspring of our stunning Yazoo (Sél LOULOU des Cèdres de la Montagne Noire, CGC): our Frizzy (FRIZZANTE FURIOSO GRIS de la Maison du Garde-Barrière). We fear to lose him soon as he is already very tired. Hard to imagine that soon the wonderful "epoch Yazoo" will be history ......
We'll never forget HOW Fendi was picked: Lilo came here with her small daughter Teresa, they had lost their Briard some weeks before. We still had three boys at the age of 5 months from our F litter, Frizzy was meant to stay here. Lilo wanted Ferre but we refused because he was a very dominant boy and a real rascal. We said we would not take the responsibility with that dominant dog and a small child. Fendi would be a good choice as he was very soft and always eager to prevent any "stress" with his brothers. Lilo decided to spend the night nearby to come back again on the next day. When she came the next morning she was still looking at Ferre. Then all of a sudden something we had not expected happened: Ferre ran to little Teresa and at the same time Fendi rushed over to her and stood right in front of her - he wanted to protect Teresa from Ferre who would have jumped up on her and would sure make her fall. No more question which boy would drive home with Lilo and Teresa. Over the years we were in contact from time to time and we always heard that our decision was so serious and so great, that Lilo and Teresa could not have got a better dog. And it was nice to receive lots of photos and see Teresa and Fendi growing up together.
Thanks for that loving and caring home, and thanks that Lilo and Teresa opened their arms to let Fendi go when time had come.
December 9, 2012:
Back home from the show weekend in Wels/A (double CACIB show 8/9 Dec.) with nice results: Memy (Multi-Champ. INCREDIBLE ME von Shinbashi) has been shown on both days for the fulfillment of the necessary conditions for breeding confirmation in Austria, and got CACA, CACIB and BOS on Saturday, on Sunday she went out of the ring with CACA. With the CACIB on Saturday Memy has now the third country for gaining the International Championship which we are going to try to finish in July 2013. Dorka and Memy were once again a real great team and we are mighty proud of both!
Besides the indescribable cold in the halls it was a very nice and comfortable weekend accompanied by some great friends.
Herewith the show season 2012 finally ended for the dogs from here. This was really a great year with indescribable success for three dogs from here.

It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce very sad news again: GUS GILLESPIE de la Maison du Garde-Barrière "Gustl" passed last night and went to his family on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Our thoughts are with him and his owners, and we hope that all the nice memories from over 10 years ease the pain a little bit. A candle has been lit for this wonderful boy ......
We want to thank his owners for this wonderful and loving home and that they made his life so happy.

This is a very sad day ...... another epoch of our lives has ended ...... only 8 days after her 14th birthday we had to say goodbye to our little princess Gizmo (JESMINA GIZMO Kasiterit) and let her go to the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. This tiny girl with the heart of a lion was something very special in our lives, she entered this house on Christmas Eve 1998 and caught the heart of everyone she met - no matter if dog person or not. Only a few days after she had arrived she joined me at work until she was over 3 years - going there by train and underground. Until the age of over 8 years she joined the Briards and me, then since 2005 the Chinese Cresteds and me on each and every trip through Europe as well as to Canada and the United States. We called her our "sweet little mascot". It was a very hard decision to let her go but her time had unfortunately come, and at 1:35 p.m. she passed away in my arms. On November 7, 2012, she will be cremated and her urn will be placed besides the one of her very best friend Yazoo.
Gizmo brought so much love, happiness, joy, fun and luck to this home. Even though having been the tinyest of the dogs here, she was the boss until today. It was fun to watch her "educate" the Briard puppies until 2006 and then the Crested puppies. Needless to say that this little "Lioness" was one of the biggest enrichments we ever had.
Thanks for the wonderful years with you sweet Gizmo, thanks that you caught our hearts the day we met you the very first time, thanks that you owned us and that you spread your love for so many years, thanks for the forever lasting memories we can carry in our hearts. You'll never be forgotten. Run free Gizmo with all the family members that left us already ...... each of them will love that you are with them now ......

We had decided before long that our show season has not yet ended, and during the past weekend Maverick (Champ. Caipirinha's NEED 4SPEED) and Memy (Multi-Champ. INCREDIBLE ME von Shinbashi) went to a double CACIB show in Pleven/BG with our friend Dorka. The trip was brought a return because the results of both dogs were nothing to sneeze at. Maverick and Memy got CACIB on both days and at the choice for the breed BOB was given both days to Memy. On the first show Memy was even placed in the group with BOG3. And the best of that weekend: Maverick now has his first Championship, Memy her fourth. Both are now Beauty Champions of Bulgaria.
A repeated thank you goes to Dorka who once again cared and showed both again great, but also to our friends Bence and Dániel who helped when needed. GREAT, one can only wish such a finish of the season. Some photos have been added to the Photo Gallery / Shows Maverick and Shows Memy.
With Maverick's title there are now 2 Champions out of our N litter (born 26 May 2011).
October 25, 2012:
Today Tiffany from the USA arrived in Vienna to visit us for a couple of days, and ...... to bring our long and eagerly awaited new family member: Secret (Explicit's SINS AND SECRETS FOR CAIPIRINHA'S). What a blast!
Secret was exploring her new home immediately even though she had been on tour for 14 hours. Needless to say that all the dogs here welcomed her and made her first steps in the "new world" comfortable.

Our Yorkie princess Gizmo (JESMINA GIZMO Kasiterit) celebrates her 14th birthday today. One can clearly see she is a senior but she is in good mood and still lets all the others know that she is the boss of all the rascals (big and small) here. Happy Happy Birthday dear Gizmo, and we do hope that we can celebrate some more with you.

Today we celebrate another birthday ...... the one of our most successful darling ...... Keanu (Multi-Champ. Whisperingln' THE DEVILS ADVOCATE) is six years. Needless to say that this stunning boy will be overall spoiled today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Keanu!!!
This house would miss something if we would not have this boy. He enriches each single day with joy and luck and even lets the sun shine on dull days. Thanks Keanu!
