One birthday after the other follows the memorial days: Jag Junior (JAG LE CANNIBAL JUNIOR de la Chaume du Bois Dieu) today celebrates his 5th birthday. How fast time flies. It seems to me as if I had just picked up the black raskal. Happy Birthday dear Jag Junior.
March 21, 2019:
Memy (Multi-Champ. INCREDIBLE ME von Shinbashi) celebrates her 8. birthday today. A heartfeld congratulation to the cuddle-mouse. According to shows she is a veteran since today, which she is not concerning body and soul.
March 16/17, 2019:
This weekend I took part at a handling and grooming seminar under instructions of worldwide known handler Javier Gonzalez Mendikote in der Slowakei teil. Es war beeindruckend und sehr, sehr lehrreich. What an honor to learn under such a perons. Hopefully it is realizeable for me in the future to do everything right. ...... So many things to learn in just two days can overwhelm a bit. Lot of thanks to Javier for the effort, persistence and patience with all participants. When I meet him next time at a show I hope he is reasonably pleased with my "work".

Today another candle is lit for Samson (UGO de la Morne Plaine). 14 years ago he went over the Rainbow Bridge.

More upcoming memorial days: 31 years ago Marko was born. Of course also for him - who is missed like on the first day - a candle has been lit.

Another memorial day: 21 years ago my Briard C litter de la Maison du Garde-Barrière was born. It was the first litter of unforgotten unique Yazoo (BISS Sel. LOULOU des Cèdres de la Montagne Noire, CGC) and Samson (UGO de la Morne Plaine). My thoughts are with all 6 dogs of that litter and with their parents. Today a candle has been lit also.

My very special girl today celebrates her 14th birthday: Ula (Multi-Champ. Family Song's ULA). All the very best for the sweet lady, and may lots of more time together.
She is the oldest in the house, and I am happy that she is doing so great. Admittedly she hears a bit less and begins to have a bad eyesight, but this does not hinder her to be happy and joyful every day, and to get her own way. Yes, she has become a bit demanding and stubborn, but this appertains to her at that age..

All the very best to OVER THE TOP "Sly" in Germany, OUT OF REACH "Freya", ONE OF HIS OWN "Gatsby", ON CLOUD No9 "Esprit" - all three here in the house, ON SILENT WINGS "Story" in Hungary, ONE MAN STANDING "Macho" in the USA and ONE HOT MINUTE "Minu" in Switzerland. I wish you all many more healthy years with your owners.

The A litter de la Maison du Garde-Barrière, my first Briard litter, was born 25 years ago. A candle has been lit in memory of those 7 puppies.

It is one year ago today that my sweet Courage (Champ. KAHLUA de la Maison du Garde-Barrière) left forever.
She was the last one of my own bred Briards (K litter). She is missed, a candle will be lit for her.

18 years ago my very first Briard went over the Rainbow Bridge: Sándor (Rec. Champ. SÁNDOR von Anitzberg). My first show dog, the founder of my kennel de la Maison du Garde-Barrière, an unique charakter, ...... he is forever unforgotten, keeps on living forever deep in my heart, and also for him a candle has been lit.
January 10, 2019:
Sending best wishes for the birthday to the Caipirinha's L litter (born 2009) and the Caipirinha's M litter (born 2010). All out of these litters are for sure very much spoiled today.
To Lee Marvin these wishes go to the other side of the Rainbow Bridge ...... he left forever on December 4, 2016. For him a candle is shining.
